• BID3Python API package: Access BID3 via Python; users can now interact with databases, change inputs, and launch runs… all using APIs
• Green hydrogen production: Simulate “green hydrogen” electrolysers, by specifying thresholds to restrict operating hours of co-product plants
• Gas and carbon co-optimisation and additional co-products: New co-products beyond 3H can now be included, e.g. ammonia, natural gas, CO2...
• Power-to-X (interacting co-products): Any power-to-X can be simulated with the interacting co-product functionality
• Custom fields in output forms, a revived Dashboard: Ability to create custom fields using multiple tables inputs to build your own dashboard.
• Double-click your way through BID3: Navigate BID3 double-clicking drop-boxes in the interface to open profiles as well as lists of technologies, fuels and so on.
• Auto Build and energy-only markets: Model energy-only markets with co-product functionality
• And a few more: Fuel price adder no longer depends on the fuel profile, and interface input forms have been improved.
