We’ve served up a Scandinavian smorgasbord selection of snacks for the mid-2022 update!
Like all good sharing platters, there is something for everyone in this update, and of course if you’re hungry for more there’s the up-and-coming User Forum in Oxford
We’ve highlighted a few succulent items below, but do tuck into the full menu of options available both in the Release Note and the Release Webinar, both available via the Client Area.
- Clone database option: one click to faster version control
- Comments on each track: improved ability to label your scenarios (tracks)
- Fixed flows as a function of renewable curtailment: to stop those pesky imports when curtailing renewables
- Electrolysers now included in the Redispatch module
- Speed improvements: improvements to Dispatch simulation text files location and speed
- Filters for interconnector price areas: makes homing in on flows much easier
- Overview of database – to help you write your own queries and provides more info on which tables to output
- Some techie improvements for Europe, including FBMC PTDF bespoke hour groups (massively reduces sizes of PTDF files), and including fair loss-of-load distribution within the quadratic flows option
- Prioritisation of specific runs within the core manager (but no queue jumping please…!)
